BFA Thesis - I am so proud of this film for its scope & joy I had in making it. The production ran incredibly smooth, helped in people feeling confidence in their role. When you can focus on your task while feeling supported by the production it allows everything to flow. It's relaxed, but focused. Structured to allow the act of shooting go smoothly.

BFA Thesis - This project had me focus on implementing many small choices to keep the visuals intriguing in an otherwise talking head film. When do we jump into the conversation with the camera? Do we jump the line here? How is the set & wardrobe choices an extension of the story?

When Sarra the director came to me 7 months before shooting it was an instant yes, hardly do you get to shoot such an interesting subject as dance.

This film is my first narrative I wrote for myself; it explores how relationships in turmoil are viewed retrospectively. This was my first on-location multi-day shoot where pre-production needed to be precise.
